Easter hopped up rather quickly this year and there are plenty of great brunch spots all over Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand. We’re listing our favorite restaurants for brunch within a few miles from Living Dunes that serve up everything from seafood towers to melt-in-your-mouth eggs benedicts. - Blueberry’s Grille

“Come as a stranger, leave as a friend” at Blueberry’s Grill right up the street from Living Dunes. This eatery uses only the freshest ingredients to prepare unique spins on brunch classics. Menu highlights include a Wild Smoked Salmon Croissant complete with Bordeaux brie cheese, red onions, tomatoes and eggs; French Beignets; sweet potato pancakes; chicken and waffles and an omelet with blackened scallops. The restaurant is open every day from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. and they have a second location at Barefoot Landing. Reservations are suggested.
- Drift – A Coastal Eatery
980 Cipriana Dr., Myrtle Beach, SC
As one of Myrtle Beach’s newest brunch spots, Drift has already made quite the name for itself. The unique eatery serves breakfast and lunch daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and has an extensive list of cocktails and specialty coffees. Their steak filet and eggs melt in your mouth and they offer eight types of eggs benedicts including options with lobster, salmon and duck. For a healthier option try one of their protein power bowls mixed with 5 grain quinoa, greens, piquante peppers, avocado, mushrooms and a burrata ball topped with your favorite protein.
- Hook & Barrel
8014 N. Kings Hwy., Myrtle Beach, SC
Hook & Barrel serves a tasty brunch every Sunday. Start off with the H&B Signature Bloody with bacon, cocktail shrimp, olives and Old Bay. Appetizers include a seafood tower, bourbon bacon and homemade mini croissant cinnamon rolls. Their brunch specials feature Pennsylvania Dutch Style Pancakes, Crab Cake Benedict, Quiche de jour and Bananas Foster French Toast. They also offer an assortment of smoothies, sandwiches and desserts. They’re open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays.
- Chestnut Hill The Restaurant
9922 N. Kings Hwy., Myrtle Beach, SC
The brunch at Chestnut Hill is award-winning and is served every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The all-you-can-eat style meal includes breakfast favorites like stone ground cheesy grits, waffles and scrambled eggs. Other buffet classics include poached salmon, Alaskan snow crab legs, local peel and eat shrimp and baked mac n cheese. They also have carving stations and a wide variety of desserts.
- Johnny D’s Waffles & Bakery
3301 N. Kings Hwy., Myrtle Beach, SC
Johnny D’s has delicious breakfast and lunch options served from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily. Try one of ten different waffles like the Banana Split, Funfetti or Coconut Banana French Toast waffle topped with options like fried chicken, peanut butter, pecans and more. Move on to nine different eggs benedict options including an Irish version made with corned beef hash. There’s plenty more on the menu that features skillets, sandwiches, fruit platters and breakfast pastries.
